The sound of a revving engine.
The smell of restored leather.
The touch of pristine chrome.
The sight of classic craftsmanship.
The talk of the town is Carmel Artomobilia on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from noon to 6 P.M.
The Carmel Arts & Design District promises to stimulate your senses by celebrating the art and design of the automobile.
Unlike any other event, the second annual Carmel Artomobilia marries the beauty of classic, vintage, exotic and rare car collections with artists inspired by automotive design. From historic Duesenbergs to late model Lamborghinis, Artomobilia guests will celebrate decades of engineering and craftsmanship.
“This event is amazing!” exclaims Carmel resident Sue Finkam. “I took my son. Of course, he could not get enough of the cars. For me, it was fascinating to be so close to pieces of history and imagine the story each car could tell.”
In addition to one-of-a-kind cars and art, guests are invited to stroll the District and enjoy the variety of Artomobilia’s refreshment, music and food selections.
Admission to the event is free, but the collections are priceless!
