Carmel on Canvas pre-registration forms are available starting August 5th until Thursday, September 15th. Please note the registration fees will increase starting Friday, September 16th. Checks can be mailed to City of Carmel (see below).

On-site registration begins at Hoosier Salon, 22 N. Range Line Road, Carmel, IN 46032, starting Friday, September 16th at 8:30 a.m.

CARMEL ON CANVAS PLEIN AIR PAINT OUT - SEPTEMBER 16,17 & 18
Carmel on Canvas Plein Air Paint Out provides artists with 3 days of plein air painting in the Carmel Arts & Design District. There are 3 divisions; professional, nonprofessional, and teen. There will be more than $13,000 in total prizes.

The Paint Out will conclude on Sunday with a Quick Paint for artists ages 13 and older with awards totaling $1,000.

*Registered Carmel on Canvas All Day Plein Air Paint artists have the opportunity to sell their art at the Carmel on Canvas Art Fair. A tent will be provided to the first 25 Carmel on Canvas artists who register for the Art Fair. PLEASE NOTE: Artists may show only their own art. Please note on your registration form that you are also registering for the art fair. This offer is FREE – but please provide your own easels and displays for your art.

Carmel on Canvas Kids Zone
Saturday, September 17th, 1 – 4 p.m.
Do you know of a young, budding artist? Come visit us at the Carmel on Canvas Kids Zone! This year, we have two locations available for some kid-friendly art fun. The Kids Zone is FREE to the public.

- Carmel Arts Council’s Children’s Art Gallery (40 West Main Street)

Purchase Awards
Carmel on Canvas artists have the opportunity to compete for Purchase Awards by painting the sponsoring business’s establishment and winning the listed monetary prize. Winners will be chosen on Saturday night.
