Artist Susan Mauck describes her artwork as " impressionistic, with a contemporary edge". Her passion for portraiture and figure painting is evident as she strives to capture a moment in time that is sure to become a treasured heirloom.
After receiving an art degree from Indiana University, Susan continued her education through several workshops and seminars, including well-known artists Richard Schmidd, Carolyn Anderson, Ken Auster, Debra Huse, and Kim English.
Mauck is an exhibitor and member of Hoosier Salon, Indiana Heritage, IAC, IPAPA, and Carmel Arts & Design Gallery Association. She was awarded "Best Portrait" in the 2010 Hoosier Salon, and is in the permanent collection of the Indiana State Museum.
Susan Mauck recently opened French Bleu Fine Art Gallery located in the Carmel Arts & Design District. Her work may be seen during gallery hours and by appointment. Classes and art consultation are also available.
