Women's Contemporary Art Exhibit to take place in                   Carmel Arts & Design District

Carmel, IN – Nancy Irsay, Carmel resident and philanthropist, is hosting a contemporary art exhibit in the Carmel Arts & Design District.  The exhibit, entitled “Dreamscapes” will be held at both Accent Details, located at 45 W. Main Street, and the future site of the Deborah Lyons Portrait Gallery, at 43 W. Main Street.  The exhibit opens with a private event on Thursday, August 24th, and will be open to the public Friday, August 25th through Monday, August 28th.
Dreamscapes will feature works by eleven international and regional women artists focusing on an underlying united theme.  “Each work of art puts its audience into another realm, into a dreamscape,” said Nancy Irsay.
Artists exhibiting are:  Lenore Thomas, Karen Baldner, Toni Hook, Adrian Stanley, Stacy Novak, Kelly Beerbower, Lindsey Davidson, Audrey Barcio, Susanna Hoone, Mariane Nguyen, Anne Marie Katz, Jennifer Wehlacz and Jessica Robinson.
