Artist:
Jacob Stoesz (High School Student)
Jacob was thrilled to participate by painting a guitar for Carmel Arts & Design District. His original design of rotating flames combined his love of color and shapes. Jacob hand-painted the designs in acrylic, outlined the flames with metallic gold, and applied a sealant to maintain the glossy appearance.
Jacob Stoesz, who is autistic, will be a Junior at Carmel High School. He enjoys taking drawing classes and has had numerous drawings displayed in Carmel High School art shows. His favorite subjects to draw are wildlife and his two Dalmations. Jacob has previously entered and won two Carmel Arts & Design District contests with his drawings of his Dalmation, Tucker.
After graduation, Jacob would like to pursue a career as a veterinary technician and wildlife conservationist. He also plans to continue to draw and paint. |
