While in grade school, Kathy dreamed of being an artist. Her favorite field trip was to the Art Institute of Chicago. She studied Fine Arts at Bradley University and spent a semester studying art at Parsons in Paris, France.

After graduating, she became a flight attendant. She was able to see many cultures and visit amazing art museums around the world. One of Kathy’s most memorable trips was to Calcutta India. While there, she visited the Missionaries of Charity and gave them her painting of Mother Teresa. Kathy left the airlines after fourteen years to stay home with her twins. She enjoys sharing her love of art with her children and the community.
