I believe that I have always had a pencil in my hand. If I sat my pencil down it was for a paintbrush, some clay, beads, yarn...As an artist nothing is more exciting than getting a spark of an idea and seeing where it will take me. I began painting professionally in 2000, focusing on murals and textures. Eventually I felt the need to expand to canvases to experiment more freely with styles, colors, and subject matter.

I have participated in art fairs in central Indiana and in Michigan, and had my first solo show at The Artists Vineyard in 2008. You may have seen some of my work at the recent “Art In Bloom” gallery walk in Carmel. I currently have work available at The Brick Street Art & Antique Mall, located in Zionsville, IN. I also enjoy creating commissioned pieces.

I am grateful whenever I pick up a pencil or a paintbrush to be pursuing a passion that has lasted for so many years.
