Art of Wine returns to the picturesque Carmel Arts & Design District on Saturday, May 20 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Come out to enjoy samples from wineries throughout the state. All ages are welcome to attend!

Wine Tasting Tickets are $30 and include a souvenir tasting glass and program. Sample selections at each winery booth with the opportunity to purchase bottles or glasses from your favorites.

A limited quantity of VIP Prime Hour tickets are available for $50.
*Guests who purchase Tasting Tickets must be 21+ and show valid photo id at check-in.

Lost Wax

Lost Wax will perform on the Main Stage from 8 – 10 p.m. at the corner of S. Range Line Rd & 1st Ave SW.

Lost Wax Band is the Original Mashup Party Band, providing a show that specializes in a unique mashup music style that fuses Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, and R&B from six decades of hits. The party band has been performing all over the United States since 2009 with mashups and medley sets that make them unique. They specialize in crafting high-energy party shows, taking care to transition seamlessly between songs to maximize the dance floor energy!

Additionally, local acoustic bands will be performing throughout the festival footprint from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Bands will perform two-hour sets and include Jeremiah Cosner, Typical Summer, Elliott Ferguson, Joseph Filipow, Jennifer Mlott and Elizabeth Lee. Performance times will be listed in the festival program.

Wineries from across the state will be onsite with their unique wines. Guests can purchase wine by the glass or bottle, as well as sampling with the Tasting Ticket. Most wineries bring additional merchandise for purchase as well.

Art on Main Gallery will host Kim Greene and Deb Slack doing live painting demos beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Painting with a Twist will be onsite this year, with painting sessions opens from 5 – 8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased on On Tap Tickets prior to the event or onsite the day of the event, with a credit card only (no cash onsite). You must be 21+ to purchase sampling tickets. Tickets are on sale now!

Tasting Tickets are $30 and include a souvenir tasting glass and program. Sample selections at each winery booth with the opportunity to purchase bottles or glasses from your favorites.

A limited quantity of VIP Prime Hour tickets are available for $50.

$50 VIP Prime Hour Tickets include:

  • Early entry and unlimited wine tastings beginning at 4 p.m.
  • Souvenir wine glass
  • Plate with wine glass holder
  • Custom Wine Stopper
  • Insulated backpack (that conveniently fits wine bottles)

We rely on volunteers to make Art of Wine a success.

From greeting attendees and helping them purchase a wine tasting glass, to keeping the Arts and Design District clean, Art of Wine has a broad range of volunteer opportunities from noon to 11:30 p.m. If you want to be part of this exciting event, please CLICK HERE to select your volunteer time.

Indiana Artisan Gallery will host artists Carrie Wright and Greg Adams during Art of Wine. Carrie will demonstrate her silk painting technique and Greg Adams will be making rustic willow furniture and decor. Both artists will be located outside of the Indiana Artisan Gallery.

The event is an evening that combines art and wine in a relaxing atmosphere. Guests can take part in the wine sampling for $30, purchase directly from wineries by the glass or bottle or simply enjoy the festival atmosphere. Purchase tickets here! (Payments by credit only).

– Roads close at 9 a.m. and the Detour Route can be utilized at that time.

Can I bring someone under 21 years old?

All ages are welcome to attend and enjoy the entertainment, experience unique art and visit the District’s shops and restaurants. Only attendees 21 years old and older are permitted to participate in the wine sampling.

What is the admission fee?

There is no admission fee for attendees. This is a free event.

Do I have to buy a Tasting Ticket to enjoy wine?

No. If your favorite winery will be at the event, you can go directly to their booth to make your purchase.

What are other fees?

– Adults, 21 years old and older, can purchase unlimited wine sampling with a Tasting Ticket for $30. Photo identification is required for all guests to participate in the wine tasting. For guests 21 years and older who do not wish to sample glasses and bottles of wine can be purchased directly at wineries’ booths. Purchase tickets here! (Payments by credit only).

What are payment options?

We are moving to a cashless event for Tasting Tickets. Participating wineries and restaurants may accept cash, but the majority will accept credit cards.

Where can I park?

Public Parking is available at:

  • Indiana Design Center parking: 200 South Range Line Road
  • Main & Monon Parking Garage: 25 3rd Ave SW
  • Midtown Parking Garage: 145 W. Elm Street 
  • Sophia Square’s underground parking garage: 31 1st Ave NW

The City will have bike racks available on 2nd Ave NW.
