Carmel Lions Club

Carmel Lions Club

We are a group of individuals from the Carmel community who work to improve our community - both locally and throughout the world - by performing service projects and fundraising.

We are a service club open to anyone in the community 18 years of age or over.

We strive to make service opportunities available to those with busy work and family schedules and all activities are family friendly.

Carmel Lions Club was chartered in 1936 by a small group of forward-thinking leaders to serve and improve the Carmel community.  The population of Carmel at the time was under 800.

The Carmel Lions Club has grown with Carmel.  We are over 90 members strong and our club has consistently been a top Club in Indiana and the United States.

Our members both men and women, both young and older, come from all walks of life and multitude of professions.  Some members are Carmel natives while many other members are from throughout the United States and World.

The Carmel Lions Club is well known for our August Fish Fry.  This event was first held in 1939 and is the longest -running community event in Carmel.
